What is an Emulsified Scrub?
Emulsified scrubs effectively turn into a lotion on your skin as they emulsify with your bath water. The emulsifier traps the oil with the water and allows the oil to penetrate the skin. It does not separate or leave a greasy coating on skin or other surfaces.
Goat Milk: has naturally occurring lactic acid that helps keep skin smooth by encouraging skin turnover. It also contains many vitamins, specifically A, D and B6, as well as the anti-oxidant Selenium. The protein strands of goat milk are shorter than other types of milk and are more readily absorbed by skin.
Rice Bran Oil: The main benefit of rice bran oil to the skin is its wonderful deep-moisturizing capability. This is due to its combination of vitamin E and fatty acids, which go deep into skin to hydrate. ... With all its natural components, rice bran oil is considered an anti-aging secret in Japan.
Shea Butter: is especially good at penetrating the skin. It is a skin superfood that comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree that is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin.
